Taranaki

“We had heaps of ideas and heaps of successes and failures.”

How a Taranaki business stopped spreading itself thin

Gemma Adams · Vizlink

The Problem

✓

Two brands were selling, and the newer one was using up the money the established one made.

✓

There were more good ideas than there was time or team to run them.

✓

Every idea sounded worth doing, and there was nothing to test them against.

✓

Gemma’s time was limited, and it was spread across all of it.

The story

Vizlink’s story

Gemma had spent five years building Vizlink, creating custom farm maps and whiteboards. Then she launched Aerial Art, a second brand selling satellite prints.

Both were selling, but Aerial Art was using money Vizlink was making. On top of that were more ideas: textiles, farm tours, an app. They all sounded good. The problem was deciding what was actually worth pursuing.

The outcome

What changed

Through the programme, Gemma decided Vizlink was the brand to back. She got clearer on what customers were really buying: not a whiteboard, but a way for the whole farm team to work from the same picture. That made it easier to cut ideas, move budget back to Vizlink and test new opportunities separately instead of changing the core positioning.

She now has…

01

One brand to back, and a clear test for every new idea

02

A defined customer: large-scale farm operators, with commercial tested alongside

03

A monthly scorecard that tracks every step from lead to accepted quote

04

A website rebuild with a clear brief for what goes on the homepage

★★★★★

“Saskia is incredibly relatable, easy to work with, and has a real talent for understanding both the bigger picture and the finer details. Out of everyone I’ve worked with in this space, she has been the best by far. Her ideas are thoughtful, practical, and tailored to create a strategy that will genuinely stand the test of time.”
